NREGS issue: Parliament Committee unhappy
The Parliamentary Standing Committee on Rural Development has expressed displeasure over the delay in completion of works under the MGNREGS. Analysis of district-wise data revealed that only 10 per cent of the total projects, taken up under MGNREGS in the State, was completed during 2011-12 financial year as against 25.37 per cent in the 2010-11.
