Doctor arrested by vigilance while taking bribe
Sambalpur Vigilance P.S. Case No.15 dated.27.02.2014 U/s 7P.C. Act was registered against Dr. Debendra Naik, Surgery Specialist, District Head quarter Hospital, Jharsuguda for demand of illegal gratification of 2,000/- from the complainant Jatin Saraf of Vill- Raghunathpalli, Dist-Jharsuguda for conducting Hydrosil operation of his nephew who was admitted at Dist. Headquarters Hospital, Jharsuguda on 22.2.
Odisha Govt. set up 3 more police commissionerate
Odisha Govt. is going to set up 3 more police commissionerate in the state, sambalpur, rourkela and Berhampur respectivly. To make focused effort to address law and order challenges in the three major urban centres of the State, the proposal is being mooted and the final decision from Home Department is expected soon, sources said.
