Madhuri Mehta is selected in Indian women’s cricket team

Madhuri Mehta is selected in  20 member lists of Indian Women’s cricket team. She will soon to tour West Indies with Indian Team.

The National Women’s Selection Committee announced a twenty players name at the Madhya Pradesh Cricket Association, Indore on Saturday for the India’s tour of the West Indies, in February-March 2012.

Madhuri hails from Balangir district, Odisha. She represented Balangir district in State level women’s cricket tournaments. She represented Orissa in Zonal and National level women’s cricket tournaments. Madhuri represented East Zone in Inter-Zonal Women Tournament at Ahemdabad in 2011. She selected to receive coaching at National Cricket Academy in Bangalore. Her patient 72 against Uttar Pradesh at Ahmedabad is best performance so far.
